The ORË IONIAN II is a blacked out, mechanical dive watch built strictly around utility and everyday durability.

We machined the case, crown, and case back from solid 316L stainless steel and gave it a full PVD Black finish. Because standard aluminum bezels scratch too easily, we used a PVD Black ceramic bezel insert to ensure it handles heavy daily wear without showing damage. At 42.5mm wide and a 49.6mm lug-to-lug, the case has substantial wrist presence while maintaining comfortable, balanced proportions.

A dive watch fails if you can't read it in the dark. The IONIAN II features a heavily textured green dial framed by a high-contrast orange chapter ring. For maximum low-light legibility, we applied a generous layer of Swiss Super-LumiNova to the hands, the large applied indices, and the bold 12, 6, and 9 Arabic numerals. In the dark, these elements emit a bright, long-lasting blue glow so the time is instantly readable in any environment.

To protect the dial, we bypassed mineral crystal entirely and went straight to flat sapphire, featuring a cyclops magnification bubble to make the date window highly legible at a quick glance. The watch is built for real water exposure, sealed for a true 20 ATM (200m / 660ft) water resistance rating.

Powering the watch is the Miyota 8215. We chose this specific automatic movement because it is a globally proven, highly serviceable workhorse. It runs at 21,600 beats per hour, holds a 42-hour power reserve, and winds itself using the kinetic motion of your wrist.
